The core of Widespread Hispanic is made up of three musicians; Carl Carrillo (guitar/vocals), Peter Lopez (guitar/vocals), and Jim Kristoff (mandolin/guitar/ harmonica/vocals). There’s well over 100 yrs. performing experience between them. The cover music played by the band is quite eclectic and most is very danceable. The group performs shows as a trio and also as a five piece band. Other members include bass players; Dave Nielsen, Dave Dale, and Warren Brill. Drum duty is handled primarily by Oscar DeZoto, with other drummers; Clark Bennett, Steven Jackson, Dave Swegan, and Chuck Landgraff sitting in on occasion.
